The Deputy Director of Legal Affairs of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Lawyer Baba Jamal has questioned the moral credibility of National Security Minister, Albert Kan Dapaah to engage in immoral act with a “side chick” during an official duty.
He was of the view; his actions cannot be pardoned looking at the current position of the victim as a security capo of the country.
The former Member of Parliament (MP) for Akwatia constituency of the Eastern Region, Lawyer Baba Jamal has also cautioned officeholders to protect their dignity as public figures at all times.
He has advised such persons to be circumspect in their dealings outside official duties with other people as they may fall prey to the bad intentions of others.
Speaking to Dadi FM morning show host, Abena Opokua Ahwenee on Friday, 24th January 2020, he revealed that, some prominent persons he knows have openly confessed of leaving their “side chicks” after the leaked video.
However, the maverick NDC guru denied engaging in any immoral act with other women outside his matrimonial home, in a question posed by the host whether he is also considering of leaving his “side chicks”.
He added the issue with Mr. Kan Dapaah cannot be swept under the carpet, considering his public office portfolio as a National Security Minister.
Many Ghanaians have expressed disappointment at the minister’s action with some even calling for his head from office.
