Karela United coach Augustine Evans Adotey was left satisfied with his side’s 1-1 draw against Hearts of Oak in matchday 21 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
Maxwell Boakye opened the scoring for the home side before Kwadwo Obeng Jnr restored parity for the Phobians in the dying embers of the game.
At the post-match conference, Evans Adotey admitted the game was tough and has expressed satisfaction with their performance.
“Well it was a tough game and I’m so satisfied with the performance of my boys. Honestly, they have put up a very spirited game and the performance. I have so much appreciated it. With this now we’re going forward,” he said.
The ‘Pride of the West’ are 5th on the league log with 33 points after 21 matches.
