Richard Ahiagba, the NPP’s head of communications, has pleaded with Ghanaians to maintain trust in the Akufo-Addo government.
He claims that the government is making progress in giving young people more employment, so they won’t become involved in social vices like drug abuse and drug trafficking.
He was discussing the alarming trend of certain young people into the drug trade.
Richard Ahiagba was concerned about this tendency but was adamant that young people will embrace good behavior if there were employment available to them.
According to him, a large number of young individuals whose lives have been wrecked by heavy drugs were unemployed.
Speaking on Peace FM’s ‘Kokrokoo’ broadcast, the NPP National Communications Director pleaded with the young to “continue supporting this government for its vision to tackle the biggest problem that Ghana has with youth unemployment”.
