Former flagbearer aspirant for the New Patriotic Party, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has donated GHS 1 million to the national executives of the party for the party to be vibrant while in opposition.
The outspoken politician said the money is to help the party settle some four months arrears of some staff worker of the party.
He assured the national officers of his commitment to unite the rank and file of the party to ensure the recapture in the 2028 general elections.
Presenting the cheque, Mr Ohene Agyapong alluded that the national officers must ensure there are equal playing fields for party members who want to contest in any position within the party.
According to him,without fairness and without justice, it will be very difficult for everybody on board for the great task ahead for the elephant family to unseat the NDC in election 2028.
“If NPP will come back to power, unless we are united, even when you bring Jesus Christ without unity, we can not win the election,”he added.
