The Eastern Regional Communications Officer of the Opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kojo Dankwa has stated that Kennedy Agyapong, the flagbearer aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is not a presidential material.
According to the Communications Officer, Kennedy Agyapong, who is also the Assin Central Member of Parliament lacks emotional intelligence.
Mr Kojo Dankwa indicated that NPP lacks competent persons to contest the 2024 presidential race in the forthcoming general elections.
“Kennedy Agyapong will never have a chance to pick a form for any position if he is a member of the NDC, he can’t even get close to the office gate to pick a form’’ Mr Kojo Dankwa told Nhyiraba Nartey Solomon of Bryt FM in an interview.
Mr Kojo Dankwa said that NPP has deceived flagbearer aspirants by supporting one aspirant.
He said that all the flagbearer aspirants have nothing good to offer Ghanaians adding that they delivered poorly when they had the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the country.
Meanwhile, Mr Agyapong threatened President Akufo-Addo and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia over attacks on his agents during the special delegates conference on Saturday.
He was heard saying, “President Akufo-Addo, I will give you a showdown in this country, I swear to God. Vice President, I will give you a showdown for chasing my agent away. I swear to God. You will hear what will happen here. I swear to God, I will challenge President Akufo-Addo big time.”
But the NPP party has announced its intention to summon flagbearer aspirant Kennedy Agyapong before the disciplinary committee over threats and accusations.
