A Kenyan professor, Mmwalimu Joshua Njenga together with his students, has marked the grammatical errors in President Akuffo Addo’s press statement on the death of Jerry John Rawlings yesterday.
Mr Njenga took to Twitter and wrote “Dear President Nana Akufo-Addo (@NAkufoAddo ) My students and I condole with Ghana. We have, therefore, used your statement, on the death of Jerry Rawlings, for today’s marking project. Here is how it looks after surgery. Have a great day.”
Former President of Ghana, Jerry John Rawlings died in the early hours of Thursday, November 12, 2020.
Sources claim he died from Covid-19 believed to have contracted during the funeral rite of his late Mother Madam Victoria Agbotui in October 2020.
Jerry John Rawlings was born on June 22, 1947.
JJ Rawlings affectionately called Papa-J was a charismatic military leader and subsequently became a politician who ruled Ghana from 1981 to 2001 and also a brief period in 1979.
