King Faisal have officially filed protest against Tamale City for allegedly fielding an unqualified player in their clash on Saturday.
The Pride of the North inflicted a resounding 4-0 win over King Faisal as they continue to push to survive relegation.
The Kumasi-based club claim Isaac Mensah was ineligible to feature in the week 30 encounter played at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.
The Isha Allah outfit has accused Tamale City of double registration of Isaac Mensah.
According to King Faisal, Isaac Mensah was transferred to Tamale City on loan and should had reverted to his parent club, Hasaacas. Mensah joined Hasaacas from Cape Coast Metro FC.
The Isha Allah club will be hope to win the protest in order to secure the points at stake.
