Koforidua, Asesewa, and other surrounding towns and communities in the Eastern Region have been hit by a power outage Tuesday morning.
The unexpected power outage which occurred around 7:10am is reported to have been caused by a fault on Tafo Bulk Supply Point.
“The BSP is where ECG buys power in bulk and distributes to our Cherished Customers. In case of such failures, ECG has little control over the situation” ECG explained”.
The power outage has affected many people who were planning for the day, however, ECG has assured that engineers have been deployed to fix the situation.
