The former President H.E John Dramani Mahama has blamed the Akufo-Addo led government for worsening the living conditions of the average Ghanaian due to the bad governance and leadership style.
According Mr. John Dramani Mahama, the living conditions of the average Ghanaian during the NDC era was far better than the current NPP government administration due to their mismanagement of the economy.
He cited example that the price of a bag of cement during the NDC era in 2016 was Ghc 26 but current the price of cement is hovering around Ghc 100 depending on the brand you want saying it will be very difficult for the youth of today to purchase a piece of land to build their own house.
The former President also mentioned that during the NDC administration , a gallon of petrol was selling around ghc14 but currently drivers can only use Ghc 14 to buy a litre of petrol.
He added that after worsening the living conditions of Ghanaians , the NPP government have not accepted to take full responsibility of the merse they created but rather resorted to put the blame or covid-19 and Russia- Ukraine was and the annoying of it all is when the President H.E Nana Akufo-Addo said Ghanaians makes too much noise because ‘sika mp3 dede’.
H.E John Dramani Mahama said this lastnight when addressing delegates and party executives in New Juaben South and New Juaben North Constituencies as part of his three -day tour in the Eastern region.
The former President said this is the time that the New Juaben South and North parliamentary seat is going to be taking over by the NDC in 2024 because the people have been voting for the NPP for a very long time but have not received any development from the NPP government.
He advice the resident of the two Constituencies to stop branding themselves as NPP or NDC people but rather examine their living conditions today and vote for the NDC party so that the receive the needed development.
The New Juaben South Constituency Chairman, Mr. Salasi Amuzu promised that the Constituency will give the former President John Dramani Mahama 99.9% votes in the upcoming presidential primaries and that the people of New Juaben South and North will give him the support he needs to ensure he becomes the next President of Ghana in the 2024 elections.
