A collapsing huge billboard at the entrance of Rotary Academy School near the Eastern Regional Hospital in Koforidua is posing danger to dozens of school kids, teachers, and parents.
The billboard which is advertising pepsodent toothpaste was toppled by a rainstorm that hit the new Juaben South Municipality last week.
However, it has been hanging loosely on the walls of the school risking the lives of the school kids in particular.
Some parents have expressed concern over the situation calling on the Municipal Assembly to pull down the billboard to avert disaster.
Some billboard collapsed incidents in the country have either been fatal or caused serious harm to the victims.
Therefore, with the recent rainstorm, it will be prudently for swift action by the New Juaben South Municipal Engineer to pull down the billboard in focus and other billboard hanging loosely or have questionable integrity in parts of Koforidua.
