Midwife of Magazine CHPS compound Naomi Enyonam has called on the government, cooperate and religious bodies as well as individuals to come help deal with the many challenges they face as a health provider.
The facility, which serves the people of Ada, Magazine, Aboabo and its surrounding communities is in dire need of facilities that would make health workers deliver up to expectation.
Madam Naomi Enyonam mentioned limited space, lack of pavilion for patients to wait for their turn, staff accommodation, security as major challenges the Magazine CHPS compound is facing.
She disclosed this when the Global Evangelical church, Magazine Assembly presented health equipment and toiletries to the Magazine CHPS compound on Wednesday
Chairman of the Magazine Health Committee and Magazine, Master AYOO on his part added his voice to authorities to respond to their challenges as staff of the CHPS compound are determined to provide healthcare to the people
He said several letters to authorities are yet to yield any result.
Meanwhile, a nursing mother (name Withheld) also commended staff of the facility but also commented on the challenges they face whenever they visit the Magazine CHPS compound.
She, therefore, used the opportunity to appeal to the Ghana Health Service and the New Juaben south municipal assembly to intervene to deal with the challenges the facility face.
Rev. Moses Torkudzor, Global Evangelical church Magazine branch resident pastor spoke to Bryt fm news after the presentation the motive behind their action.
According to him, the church must also take up their cooperate social responsibility by supporting the course of community development since church members live in those areas and their welfare should be a concern.
Items donated includes; gloves, plasters, weighing machine, liquid soap, sachet water, toilet rolls, and many others.
