A hit and run speeding KIA Rhino truck driver crushed a young lady on motorbike at Koforidua hospital Traffick light Sunday evening around 7:30pm.
The yet to be identified young lady suffered severe head injury after crushing on the road.
Eyewitness say the speeding KIA truck was from Polyclinic direction towards Vodafone office whilst the victim was in the T-junction of the hospital traffic light about to cross towards All Nations University City campus road.
The driver after crushing the lady on the motorbike made U-turn and drove away with speed towards the Central Police station road where he drove straight on the Jackson Park road to unknown destination.
Effort made by a motor and pragyia riders to pursue and arrest the driver failed .
The victim who was unconscious and bleeding was rushed to the emergency theater of the Regional hospital .
Police personnel arrived at the scene to take inventories and the accident motorbike away for further investigation.
