The 34-year-old man whose wife was impregnated by her CEO in Koforidua says he wants to have access to his four-year-old daughter hidden from him after divorce.
According to Emmanuel, he has been blocked from having contact with his daughter since the second quarter of 2019 even though she is said to be with her mother whose whereabouts in Koforidua is not known.
“She celebrated her birthday just last week. I was willing to have access to her to present her birthday gift but to no avail. I have been blocked from having access to my daughter. I don’t even know where she is “. Emmanuel lamented.
The 34-year-old man who lived in Koforidua the Eastern Regional Capital was shocked and seriously depressed after discovering that the CEO he named his daughter after, has impregnated and given birth to his “wife”.
He accused the CEO of Otado Investment Limited -a private company in Koforidua of ruining their two-year-old marriage after philandering with his wife at the workplace.
Emmanuel narrated that, he became a friend with the CEO- Nathaniel Oti Anim during his working days as a fuel pump attendant in 2009 at the Koforidua- Shell Filling station opposite Melcom.
The relationship grew to become a father-son bond.
In 2014, the CEO offered him a job opportunity in his company but Emmanuel rather pleaded with the CEO to employ his then-girlfriend -Hannah who had lost her job.
The CEO agreed and employed her on February 1, 2014.
Fast-forward, the CEO got married in 2015 for the second time after his first divorce while Emmanuel also married his longtime girlfriend on 13th February 2016.
Emmanuel quitted the fuel attendant job to start his own business.
His wife subsequently delivered and they named the baby girl after the CEO of the company in appreciation of their relationship and support.
Later, the love relationship between the couple turned sour after the husband gleaned from the mobile phone of the wife and discovered romantic chats, prostinor 2, among others which suggested she was having sexual affairs with the CEO corroborating tip-offs he had.
The marital issues deteriorated despite several attempts by family heads of the husband to keep cool heads.
The wife packed out of the house alleging that the husband has threatened to kill her and commit suicide. Church leaders of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Koforidua -Betom branch where the CEO worships were informed but failed to investigate the matter and call the CEO to order.
The Emmanuel was later arrested and put behind bars at the Eastern Regional Police Headquarters for allegedly abducting their then three-year-old daughter from Koforidua to Tema where he relocated to stay as a way to recover from the depression and agonies. He was later released.
According to Emmanuel, he suspected the wife to be pregnant having aborted many pregnancies. A situation he says necessitated divorce processes hastily initiated and secured by the wife with the alleged support of the CEO in 2019 which was granted by the court in August 2019.
“The divorce was hurriedly secured in court without my consent and signature,” Emmanuel said.
The CEO and Emmanuel’s ex-wife have a child less than a year of securing divorce at the court.
The CEO rented an apartment for her at Dasebre Estate a suburb of Koforidua but has recently relocated to a new apartment at Adweso Estate.
Jilted Emmanuel says, he has been blocked by the Ex-wife from having access to his daughter since 2019.
A depressed husband says he nearly committed suicide during the period.
“I took a knife and attempted to end my life because I was going through hell. I was so much hurt I never thought a man I took as my father and named my daughter after can enter into a sexual relationship with my wife and impregnate her”.
The CEO of Otado Investment limited, Nathaniel Oti Anim, admitted impregnating and having a baby with Hannah -Ex-wife of Emmanuel but was after their divorce.
“I was not the cause of their marital issues. We all tried to help them resolve it but it didn’t work. But for now, I won’t lie with you I have a baby with Hannah. It was after their divorce”.
This incident has come up while increasing marital issues and domestic violence incidents emanating from deteriorating marital relationships in the country.
The media reported Thursday, March 11, 2021, that a business executive -Prince Charles Dedjoe has been remanded by Medina District court for allegedly murdering his 43-year-old spouse. Similarly, a contract Staff of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) Philip Caeser Kumah has been arrested and granted bail by Police for allegedly beating his girlfriend to death at Akatsi North District in the Volta Region.
