Some Landlords in the Eastern Regional Capital, Koforidua, have warned their tenants not to welcome visitors as a result of the outbreak of Covid-19 and subsequent partial lockdown of some parts of the country.
According to the Landlord and landladies, they will not entertain strange visitors from henceforth in any house be it a family member or friend.
The decision is to help curb the spread of coronavirus in the country.
Speaking to mybrytfmonline.com Saturday, some members of the Landlords Association said the leadership of the various communities within the municipality will meet to send the directives to all members to adhere.
Sampson Ahunu, a Landlord explained that they “will not take chances at all because of the deadly nature of the disease”.

He, however, appealed to NGOs to help Landlords get veronica hand washing buckets and Sanitizers to share with members of the Association to enhance hygiene.
