One week observation has been held for Assembly Member for Ogua Electoral area in New Juaben South in Eastern Region George Agyei Frimpong on Wednesday, November 6.
The deceased was electrocuted while supporting an electrician to fix streelight in his Electoral area.
The Assembly Member on Saturday around 3:00pm while supporting an electrician to fix a streetlight provided by the New Juaben South Assembly unfortunately electrocuted while moving a metallic ladder.
He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Eastern Regional Hospital in Koforidua.
The incident has shocked many sympathizers of the NPP and residents in the electoral area.
A visit to the family house on Wednesday morning saw bereaved family mourning with loved ones and NPP party faithfuls gathered in black and red.
