Reverend Prince Tsidi Ocloo, resident Pastor of United Alpha and Omega Chapel at Koforidua Adweso has urged Ghanaians to show passion to prison inmates at all times and desist from shying away from them due to their situation.
According to the man of God, the situation of most inmates is not the fault of theirs and therefore must be given all the love and care.
Delivering a short sermon to prison inmates on Saturday morning, Rev. Tsidi Ocloo indicated that most inmates are bound to have a successful future considering the situation of former President Jerry John Rawlings and Nelson Mandela of South Africa.
“You see, most of the high profile personalities in our world all went through your situation but the happiest thing is that they later became prominent personalities in the world”.
“Look at what happened to Kwame Nkrumah and former Jerry John Rawlings as well as Nelson Mandela of South Africa. They all found themselves in your situation but look at how their lives turned around to impact the many” Rev Tsidi Ocloo told the inmates.
He presented food, drinks and other toiletries to inmates of Koforidua Prisons on Saturday 22nd February 2020.
Management of the Koforidua Prisons commended the church for its support to the inmates indicating, it will go a long way to assure inmates that Ghanaians still care about them despite their situation.
Rev. Tsidi Ocloo also took the opportunity to preach to inmates and prison officers, assuring them God can change their destiny.
