School buildings of Sarkodee M/A Basic school in Koforidua have been ripped off due to heavy rainstorm on Monday night.
The incident also destroyed computers in an ultra modern ICT lab provided by MTN Ghana Foundation few months ago.
Authorities of the school have reported the matter to the New Juaben South Municipal Education Directorate and the Assembly member for immediate intervention.
They are, also appealing to the Member of Parliament, Michael Okyere Baafi to come to the aid of the school to ensure teaching and learning is not disrupted.
Meanwhile, pupils have cleared debris from the rainstorm while classrooms are also being cleaned, awaiting intervention from the necessary authorities.
