One female pupil of Grace Child Academy in Koforidua has been admitted at the St Joseph Hospital.
This was after the school’s bus was involved in an accident on Wednesday morning at Estate junction, a suburb in the New Juaben South municipality.
Other pupils also suffered minor injuries and were later given the necessary health medication.
According to report, the driver attributed the incident to brake failure.
Some parents who heard of the incident trooped to the scene in tears wanting to know the conditions of their children.
Meanwhile, the school is yet to officially comment on the incident.
Transport activities of private schools in the Regional Capital is not the best as most of the buses are not in good condition as overloading remains a normal norm with authorities not doing much to see to the safety of pupils.
