A 20-year-old graphics designer has been hospitalized after sustaining an injury in a near-deadly clash at Koforidua – Asokore Kuma a suburb of New Juaben North Municipality of the Eastern Region
The victim, Philip Ahiable, a resident of Asokore – Kuma and his rival, Enoch Odonkor, a Level 200 student of Koforidua Technical University who stays at Nsukwao are both in love with a second-year student of Ghana Senior High School identified as Nafatu.
Mybrytfmonline.com has gathered that the victim Philip Ahiable once called his rival Enock Odonkor on phone and warned him to stay away from the girl.
Odonkor, however, defied the warning and visited the girl which resulted in a fight between him and Ahiable.
Odonkor who had concealed a small paper cutter in his pocket pulled it to slash the face of Ahiable. He suffered deep wound hence was rushed to the Eastern Regional Hospital, Koforidua while bleeding profusely. He is still on admission though responding to treatment.
The case was reported at Effiduase Police Station which Police proceeded to arrest the suspect and detained him.
Mybrytfmonline has gathered that Enock Odonkor was the first to propose to the girl a month before Philip Ahiable did which the girl accepted both.
