A married woman staying in Koforidua the Eastern Regional Capital impregnated by her boyfriend is in a dilemma after an attempt to abort her pregnancy failed.
The woman (name withheld) whose husband stays abroad is pregnant for a little over a month.
She attempted to induce the pregnancy through self-medication but suffered serious complications and rushed to the Eastern Regional Hospital-Koforidua last week.
The fetus was not hurt hence was treated of the complications and discharged though she insisted the Pregnancy be aborted Doctors advised that because she has gone through two cesarean sections it was not medically advisable to terminate the baby.
A close friend to the lady disturbed that she could hurt herself in her daring quest to terminate the pregnancy to save her marriage told mybrytfmonline.com the lady is planning to visit a private facility to abort the baby.
“Please I don’t want to speak on this issue, you know it is private matters but I worry that she may hurt herself because she still wants to abort the baby to keep her marriage.”
