A 28-year old man identified as Ibrahim Ahmed has been butchered at Pipeline a suburb of New Juaben North Municipality of the Eastern region.
According to the New Juaben North NADMO officials who visited the seen said they received a distress call in the early hours of Tuesday, 23rd July , 2024 indicating a murder incident in the Pipeline area and promptly dispatched its officials and members of the Ghana Police Service to the scene to access the situation and ensure public safety.
The NADMO official Kankam Twumasi Daniel explained that “upon arrival at the scene , the dispatched team found the lifeless body of Ibrahim Ahmed in cold blood”
“But the residents says the victim resides in a nearby area known as Krobo junction which is the next junction before reaching Pipeline where the incident occured”
Kankam Twumasi Daniel further revealed that the body of the deceased, Ibrahim Ahmed has been transported to the St. Joseph mortuary for a post mortem examination to be conducted to ascertain the precise cause of the death.
The case has since been handed over to the Effiduase Police Station for further police investigation into the tragic death of Ibrahim Ahmed.
The New Juaben North Municipal Authority have waved their commitment to support the police in their efforts and ensuring that the community remains informed and safe.
