A recent Facebook post by the account Gh Bewasty has sparked widespread concern after it falsely claimed that a popular contractor J.K Okyere alias Antatic has passed away in Koforidua, in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
In an official statement, representatives for Antatic family have firmly denied the claim, labeling the post as “false and misleading.” They urged the public to disregard the rumor and treat it with the “utmost contempt” it deserves.
The statement reassured the public, expressing hope that the disclaimer would alleviate any anxiety caused by the misinformation.
Antarctic is a renowned contractor and business man in Koforidua who has calved a niche in the construction industry.
