At Effiduase in the New Juaben Traditional Area, Ghanaians Diasporians of Effiduase living in Europe and other countries of various destinations have donated modern plastic chairs and canopies worth over ten thousands of cedis to the people, elders and Nananom of Effiduase.
Presenting the items in conformity of 5th Akwasidae at the Effiduase Palace on behalf of Effiduase Diasporians, Opanin kwadwo Asiedu Darko (Zathogy) stated clearly that it is the interest of the Diasporians Association in abroad to address seating challenges facing the palace when human activities are being held.
Opanin kwadwo Asiedu Darkwa again outlined other contributions made towards newly constructed Effiduase Chief’s palace such as the roofing, fixing sliding doors and other befitting materials which is required for building a solid magnificent palace house.
Meanwhile, Nana Kwadwo Asiedu Darkwa, President of the Effiduase Diasporians called for those who are not members to get on board as all hands should be on deck to seek development agenda of Effiduaseman.
He also called on those who are financially sound to contribute their quota to their hometown to do so for the next generations because ‘together we build as one else posterity will judge us’.
Receiving the donations on behalf of the people of Effiduase, Okoawia Dwomo Baabu, Chief of Effiduase, who double as Nifahene of New Juaben Traditional Area thanked Members of the Effiduase Diasporians most especially, Nana kwadwo Asiedu Darkwa the President of the Association and two local representatives, Miss Rosina and Hon. Perris Otuo Acheapong, Assembly Man for Effiduase Adumasa Electoral for their kind gesture and continuous enormous support of impactated contributions towards the palace and other areas that matters.
The chief drew the attention of the Diasporians to look also at human development centered initiatives in order to help the youth who are interested to travel abroad for them to also go and work and come contribute back to help the development of Effiduase because those who went early are aging.
