The activities are being liked to increasing abduction cases of children for human sacrifices .
A total of twelve(12) children in Koforidua got missing in 2022 under strange circumstances.
The Member of Parliament for New Juaben South, Michael Okyere Baafi says the development is worrying.
“In the olden days blood of animals were used as sacrifice but now it is human sacrifice. Children are being abducted to be sacrificed.Briefings that I have had from top police and security officers in Koforidua indicate that,12children got missing from Koforidua in 2022 .It could be that these children were abducted for money ritual sacrifice”. Michael Okyere Baafi said.
According to the Lawmaker,” One of the victims was abducted to Swedru area but because God was on the side of this child ,managed to escape and narrated that ,there were about 20 children in the room where he was sent to …parents Let’s protect our children”
Michael Okyere Baafi said this when he joined the Omanhene of New Juaben traditional Area Daasebre Kwaku Boateng III to worship at Methodist Church in Koforidua during 31st All-night service to usher in the new year .
