Hon. Samuel Adongo, NDC parliamentary candidate for the New Juaben North Constituency, has revealed the NDC’s walk was rescheduled from Saturday to Sunday due to a conflicting event with the NPP.
Mr. Adongo, has expressed surprise at the large turnout despite the late notice, hoping it translates to votes on December 7.
On Bryt Adekye Mu Nsem with Kwamina Sam Biney, the NDC PC said that, people were not aware of the rescheduling of the day because the information came late, but even with that he was shocked to see the number of people coming for the walk because New Juaben North is known as the New Patriotic Party stronghold.
He was optimistic and pray that, the number of people who came for the walk will turn into votes on 7th December.
“We did not go for the walk because the Vice President and NPP flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia was also having same one with the NPP on the same day”.
Hon. Adongo shared his delight at seeing thousands of supporters wearing NDC T-shirts, a significant shift from the past when wearing NDC attire in Asokore would invite ridicule.
He is urging New Juaben North and everyone that, the way they have gained trust in him, they should make it a vote because they will never disgrace and disappoint them because what is coming is very heavy for them.
