Head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak Edward Nii Odoom says his outfit painful defeat to sworn rivals Kotoko served as a motivation which saw his side beating Dreams FC at their backyard in the Ghana Premier League.
The rainbow boys last weekend at home lost 2-1 to their bitterest rivals courtesy Naby Keita’s late strikes which broke the heart of the phobias.
However, Kofi Kordzi’s solo strike stunned Dreams FC at Dawu.
In a post-match interview, Edward Nii Odoom said his side drew inspiration from their defeat to Kotoko last weekend.
“We lost painfully to our bitter rivals at home and I think that also motivated us more to come into this game”
“We were very angry about these points because we don’t deserve to be at where we are on the table. So we came in for the three points” he said at the post-match conference.
Odoom who stocked to his starting 11 claims that his charges were tactically discipline and that rescind to make changes in the game.
Hearts of Oak will play host to AshantiGold in match day 8 of the Ghana Premier League.
