Head coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Maxwell Konadu believes his outfit is making steady progress following their 1-0 victory over Dreams FC in matchday 9 of the Ghana Premier League.
The porcupine warriors will host regional rivals Ashantigold in the matchday 10 at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Speaking ahead of the game, he said, “We have improved a lot after playing WAFA and Dreams FC. I think the progression of the team is steady. We will try to improve upon that and make sure we win our game against Ashantigold” he said.
“The team keeps improving, so we are going to make sure that we win the match because the three points is very important to us” he added.
Kotoko is 4th on the table with 17 points whilst Ashantigold is 2nd with 17 points.
