Spokesperson of Kotoko Kennedy Boakye Ansah has denied the appointment of Maxwell Konadu as the clubs head coach for the upcoming season.
An earlier report in the local media suggested that the Black Stars B gaffer has penned a three year deal with the Porcupines but the PRO for the club has acted swiftly to deny.
“We have not signed a contract with any coach but we are still in search of a new coach which also includes Maxwell Konadu,” he said.
“We know he is a qualified coach to lead Kotoko but we have not appointed him yet” he added.
According to him, since the Kotoko job looks so attractive many coaches both local and foreign have applied for the job.
He affirmed that they will appoint a coach who has the experience, knows the African terrain and also been competent enough to cope with the pressure as well.
