Former football star John Barnes has named Mohammed Kudus as the ideal replacement for Mohammed Salah at Liverpool.
Salah faces an uncertain future at Liverpool as he nears the expiration of his contract at Anfield.
The Egyptian star could depart Liverpool after attracting massive interest from clubs in the Saudi Pro League.
However, Barnes has tipped Kudus as the perfect player to replace the former African Footballer of the Year.
“Kudus was fantastic. He was sensational for West Ham last season. Even Mohammed Salah says he won’t be here in three years’ time so that could be a role that Kudus takes on.
“He’s young, he’s dynamic, he’s direct and he plays in a similar fashion to Mo.” He told BettingExpert.
Kudus dominated the headlines after switching from Ajax to West Ham United last season. He scored 8 goals in the Premier League and provided 5 assists.
He also electrified the Europa League, scoring five goals across the period.
