Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the life Patron of Asante Kotoko has released mouthwatering monies to the management of the club to settle debts owed the players.
The Ankobeahene, Baffour Kwame Kusi II disclosed the Asantehene has released a whopping amount of GH₵710,000 to the club to settle some salary arrears.
The players are believed to have appealed to the Otumfuo to help the club offset some debts on them last week when they called on the revered King.
However, in fulfilling the promised made by Otumfuo he has released the monies to the management to clear off debts.
