The founder and leader of Heaven’s Gate Ministries, Prophet Nicholas Osei, popularly known as Kumchacha, has spoken publicly about his strained relationship with former fetish priestess Patricia Asiedu, also known as Nana Agradaa.
Speaking on Bryt Adekyee Mu Nsem with Kwamina Sam Biney on BRYT 99.1 FM on Monday, July 7, 2025, Prophet Kumchacha revealed that his disapproval of Agradaa’s “evil deeds” caused a long-standing rift between them.
“She never liked me because I did not support her actions,” the Prophet stated, referring to past disagreements with Agradaa, who gained notoriety for controversial religious practices before her conversion to Christianity.
His comments come just days after an Accra Circuit Court sentenced Nana Agradaa to 15 years in prison for her involvement in fraudulent religious activities on July 3, 2025
Kumchacha, known for his outspoken views, has long been a critic of deceptive practices in religious circles. He maintained during the interview that his stance was motivated by a desire to protect innocent people from spiritual manipulation.
The prophet stated that many people have been engaging in similar fraudulent activities, which do not contribute to the nation’s development. According to him, if such individuals truly used their resources and influence for good, there would be no need for the government to travel abroad seeking loans.
He continued by addressing the nation, urging everyone to remain vigilant. He claimed that it was his outspoken criticism that made Agradaa angry and caused her to dislike him. However, he affirmed that he would not be silenced and would continue to speak the truth, warning Ghanaians to be cautious of her actions.
The prophet concluded by saying that every individual must be responsible, alert, and discerning when it comes to spiritual matters.
