Chief Executive Officer of Techiman Eleven Wonders, Albert Commey has backed President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okraku amid calls for his impeachment after six months in office.
According to him, it is only the blind that cannot see the performance of the Ghana FA capo and has said that he (Kurt) is leading the football association in the right direction.
Some football administrators particularly (Kofi Manu) have seriously criticized the performance of the Ghana FA capo and have called for his impeachment as they strongly believe the latter has broken six of the FA articles.
Speaking in an interview, he said, “I think the FA is doing well because four or six months is a short period to effect a bigger change but with what they have put in place, I’m sure they are in the line. They have put things in place to make the league attractive”
“You can see that officiating has been best this time around and because of that, you cannot easily predict results of matches this season whether playing home or away. Before the commencement of the league, there was no sponsor but the FA gave clubs money to cushion them” he said.
He has therefore challenged critics to come out with the basis of their criticism as he strongly believes the FA has so far done well.
