Another Police officer has died in the Eastern Region.
The officer identified as Corporal Balatignan Kwasi believed to be in his thirties died behind the Police counter at Kwahu Bepong Police station.
He was reportedly found lying dead in a supine position behind the counter with foams from the mouth.
The cause of death is not known.
His body has since been deposited at Kwahu Government Hospital mortuary, Atibie for preservation. His body is likely to be moved to Police Hospital for an autopsy.
The death comes a few days after a young female Police officer stationed at Boso in the Asuogyaman District in the Eastern Region died.
Lance Corporal Sheila Afia Opoku died a few hours after she reported sick Sunday, November 7, 2021, and was rushed to the Boso clinic.
The body has been moved to Police Hospital Mortuary in Accra for preservation and autopsy.
The late Sheila Afia Opoku was an old student of Ghana Senior High School (GHANASS) in Koforidua.
The old students association is known as “Beacons” said “it devastates us to announce the untimely death of our dear Beacon Sheila Afia Opoku of the 2006 year group whose sudden death occurred today 7th November 2021,
