With some few weeks to the December 7 general elections, the leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Kwahu East has intensified its end-to-end campaign to highlight the government’s achievements and to canvass for more votes.
On Tuesday 3rd November 2020, Hon. Jeff Konadu Addo, Eastern Regional Secretary Joined Hon. Isaac Agyapong, DCE of Kwahu East, Hon. Isaac Kwaku Addo and other constituency executives on their End to End Campaign at Ahinase Electoral area( Tokorom, Bonkrase and Ahinase Proper).
These are communities that the NDC neglected for 8 years without giving them any social Amenities to improve their livelihood.
But the NPP in 4 years has supplied Electricity to these areas and also helped them put up a 3 unit classroom block.
Hon Isaac Agyapong, Kwahu East District Chief Executive (DCE), in an interview, said even though Kwahu East is a stronghold of the NPP with a solid candidate Hon Bryan Acheampong, but the party is taking no chances.
“We are not taking the voters for granted, we want them to vote on the conviction that the NPP has delivered and has kept faith with the people of Kwahu East” he added.
Eastern Regional Secretary of NPP, Mr Jeff Konadu said, they are working and campaigning like a party in opposition because they have a story to tell that the NPP government under the able leadership of President Akufo-Addo has delivered on his promises made to the people of Kwahu East and so they must renew his mandate for another four years.
Hon Jeff Konadu said Kwahu East has benefitted from the credible performance of the NPP in its first term, citing the implementation of Free SHS policy, planting for food and jobs, one district one factory and others, hence the people of Kwahu East should be forever grateful to the NPP.
