Business tycoons who hail from Kwahu Mpraeso in the Eastern Region have through their group Mpraeso Caucus donated hand washing kits and gloves to the Kwahu Mpraeso Assembly and the traditional Council to be positioned in vantage points in the township.
Members of the Caucus, Agyare Dankwah, CEO of Metalex Group of Companies, KOFI Bediako Amoakohene, CEO of East Cantonment Pharmacy Ltd, and Kwadwo Bediako Ofosu, CEO of Bedita Pharmacy supported in procuring the items to help the fight against COVID-19 by encouraging frequent hand washing.
The items donated include large quantities of Hand washing kits, alcohol-based hand Sanitizers, liquid soaps, and gloves among others.
They commended the District Chief Executive for the area, the traditional council, Health workers and all those working in diverse ways to prevent the spread of the disease to the area.
Mpraesohene, Nana Ampadu Daaduam ll, and the DCE, for the area, Emmanuel Atta Ofori Snr who received the items commended members of the caucus for the kind gesture.
