The Omanhene of Kwahu Traditional Area, Daasebre Akuamoah Agyapong II, has been appointed chairman of the nine-member board of directors of the Agricultural Development Bank (ADB), according to Pro-government media outlet Asaase Radio.
He replaces Mr. Alex Bernasko, a legal practitioner who served as chairman four years ago.

The Bank was successfully listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) on December 20, 2016. The new ownership structure of the Bank has Financial Investment Trust holding 60.50%, Government of Ghana, 32.30%, and Retail investors and ADB staff taking the remaining 7.20%.
Daasebre Akuamoah Agyapong II, known in private life as Eugene Asante Boadi, is a Chartered Accountant by profession. At a very young age of just 34 years, he was enstooled as the Omanhene of Kwahu in 2017.
