Personal Assistant and Spokesperson for the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Kofi Asare Brako has declared that former head coach of the Black Stars, Kwasi Appiah is currently the best coach in the country and has asked him to exercise patience as he chases for his unpaid entitlements.
Brako who recently described the latter as ‘ungrateful’ as he plans to drag the Ghana Football Association to FIFA is entreating the former trainer to calm down over his unpaid salaries.
In an interview with Peace FM, he expressed that should the FA decides to go in for another coach in the future he (Appiah) will be considered for the position since he is the best coach in the country.
He mentioned, Avram Grant following his exit as Black Stars did not make it known to the public that the Ghana FA was owing him thinking that he may come back and take over the national team again and has asked the Ghanaian gaffer to learn from what Grant did.
“We have not decided not to pay him because every worker is entitled to what is due him and we are paying Kwasi Appiah” he emphasized.
