Ghanaians have been urged to extend the mandate of the Akufo-Addo led NPP government to continue the many policies implemented within the past three years.
President Nana Akufo-Addo delivering a speech at Kyebi as part of his 3-days tour to the Eastern region on Friday indicated that, his outfit has delivered on many of the promises made prior to the 2016 general election and that must be given another term to continue the many policies and programs initiated by the government.
According to him, the ruling government has done a lot in terms of education, health, job creation and many other social interventions to improve the wellbeing of Ghanaians.
President Akufo-Addo however pledged his government support to the development of the country to improve upon of the livelihood of citizens no matter geographical and ethnic affiliations.
He, therefore, urged Ghanaians to vote massively for the NPP to retain back power in the December 7th general elections.
Member of Parliament (MP) for Abuakwa South constituency, Samuel Atta Akyea praised President Akufo-Addo for his visionary leadership over the past years in addressing the many challenges he came to meet.
He revealed that, the Mahama-led NDC government left over Ghc34 million debt when leaving power but insisted President Akufo-Addo has been able to change the economy around despite the challenges.
The Works and Housing minister added that achievements of the NPP government cannot be compared to any other government in the history of Ghana.
Meanwhile, Okyenhene Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin commended government for the many social interventions implemented in the less than four years in power.
He emphasised on the need to continue the Akufo-Addo led government due to the the track record shown within these years.
