The Executive Secretary of the National Identification Authority (NIA), Prof. Kenneth Agyeman Attafuah led officials of the NIA to the Palace of the Okyehene, Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin to register and issue him with his Ghana Card.
The wife of the King and members of his palace were also registered and issued with their Ghana Cards.
The Okyehene, Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin after receiving his card, expressed great satisfaction and did not hide his admiration for the highly sophisticated technology adopted by the NIA.
He also looked forward to the successful completion of the registration exercise in his region.
He urged all qualified residents in the Eastern Region to get registered.
