The Head of the Public Relations Coordinating Division (PRCD), Lady Rev. Charlotte Hanson, and her team have paid a working visit to the Ministry of Labour, Jobs and Employment. The visit formed part of the Information Services Department’s (ISD) annual monitoring exercises aimed at assessing and supporting the performance of Public Relations Officers (PROs) across Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).
The team was warmly received by the Head of Public Relations at the Ministry, Eyram Dotse K Tottimeh Jnr together with his assistant, Mr. Kafui Nutsu as well as other staff of the unit. During the interaction, the Head of Unit shared some innovations introduced in the ministries PR related activities thereby enhancing its operations and visibility. Not only that, the working visit also afforded the Unit the opportunity to share some few challenges and discussed ways to further enhance communication operations within the Ministry.
The delegation also paid a courtesy call on the Minister for Labour, Jobs and Employment, Hon. Dr. Abdul – Rashid Hassan Pelpuo, who commended the efforts of the PRO’s acknowledging their vital role in promoting the Ministry’s work. He encouraged them to continue their good work and assured them of his support to enable them to achieve more.
Also present was the Director of Research, Statistics and Information Management (RSIM), Mr. Shadrach Mensah, who lauded the dedication of the PROs and reaffirmed his commitment to providing guidance to enhance their effectiveness.
