The Public Relations Officer for Dormaa Central Municipal Education Directorate in the Bono Region, Mr. Micheal Ignatius Anaasi has disclosed how the directorate is suffering from impoverished apartments being rented and used as an education office.
Speaking in an Interview on GIFTs FM Morning Show, Mr. Micheal Anaasi explained that leadership of the Dormaa Central Municipal Assembly some years ago promised to build a well-furnished office accommodation for the directorate but all efforts to meet the realization of the promise have proven futile.
He said all quarterly reports being reported to the Assembly include the poor nature of offices that accommodate the staff of the directorate hence the need for the Assembly to speed up operations in ensuring the completion of the new office to enhance quality work delivery stressing that there is also no permanent accommodation for education Director as a result, rented apartment is being used for the education director which sometimes create inconveniences.
He therefore pleaded with the leadership of the Assembly to as a matter of urgency support the directorate by completing the new office accommodation and permanent place for the Director’s accommodation to the promenade of education in the Dormaa Central Municipality.
the Dormaa Central Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Drissa Ouatara disclosed the contribution of the Assembly so far in ensuring a befitting accommodation for the Education Director divulging that staff of the education directorate raised a five-bedroom edifice and so his leadership at the Assembly contributed to the success of the structure in ensuring its roofing and other finishes hence he is working tirelessly to ensure the completion of the structure to be used as permanent accommodation for municipal director of education.
He noted that the office accommodation for the education directorate is in a very destitute state and so leadership of the assembly is working efficiently to provide them with better office accommodation to improve the output of their work stressing that letters have been given to the Ministry of Education and other stakeholders therefore shortly the plea of the education directorate will be resolved.
