.Lawyer Nana Yaw Osei, spokesperson for former NPP National Chairman Paul Afoko, has appealed to members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to remain united and avoid divisive comments that could weaken the party.
Speaking on Bryt Adekyee Mu Nsem on Bryt 99.1 fm, Lawyer Osei said it was unfortunate that some members were trading insults and engaging in heated exchanges over party matters. According to him, such behavior does not promote peace and only creates unnecessary tension among supporters.
He explained that during elections, it is natural for candidates and their supporters to express their opinions passionately, but cautioned that words spoken without restraint can easily offend others and escalate disagreements.
Touching on his client, he noted that Mr. Paul Afoko was not happy about some of the things that happened in the past but has since let go of any bitterness. “Even though he was not happy about what happened, he has moved on and forgotten about it,” Lawyer Osei stated.
He added that Mr. Afoko’s vision for the NPP remains focused on unity and togetherness, emphasizing that with the help of God, his ultimate goal is to strengthen the party for the future.
