The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service on Thursday arrested a fake lawyer who appeared in court to represent accused members of the Western Togoland secessionists.
He has been representing his clients since the inception of the trial of the accused persons
The suspect -Dennis Seyram Benson, 42, paraded himself as Counsel for his clients once again at Keneshie District Court “2”.
However, continues blunder on some basic legal procedures in court aroused suspicion by the Judge.
The CID investigated his background and found out he is a fake lawyer.
The suspect is in Police custody assisting in the investigation.
