Legon Cities head coach Bashir Hayford is surprised with King Faisal’s solid performance against his outfit on matchday 14 of the Ghana Premier League.

Speaking after the game, the former Kotoko trainer admitted that the visitors made things difficult for them but believe it was a fair reflection of the game.
He indicated that the visitor’s approach to the game forced him changed his game plan making things difficult for his players.
“They (King Faisal) came in strongly and aggressively. And we didn’t want to go in that way because of the small size of our squad. All those who are playing are the players we have.
“They came very well prepared for the game, so we were forced to play long balls. I have watched them twice and their performance today surprise me. If they played like this against the other teams I will be surprised how they are still lying at the current position.” He added.
Legon Cities are 15th on the league table with 15 points after 14 games.
