Legon Cities forward Nicholas Gyan is optimistic the club will beat relegation despite shaky start to the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League campaign.
The Royals are bottom on the league log with 6 points after 9 rounds of matches in the domestic top-flight league.
Speaking after his side’s 2-1 defeat to Aduana Stars, the striker admitted things are not normal for the club but remains confident of not being relegation candidate.
“It is true; things are not going on well for us. We don’t deserve to be where we are on the table looking at the players at our folds but at least in football there are a lot of things that happen”
“At the beginning of the English Premier League Manchester United were struggle but now they are on top of the table. Though we’ve played nine matches but I hope we will not go to relegation”
“Before the season ends, at least we will be in the middle of the table” he said.
