NPP Communications Director and Member of Parliament for Adentan, Yaw Buaben Asamoah has expressed that he is quite confused about the choice of Ghanaians at the just-ended election.
According to him, the NPP party must take up the responsibility of investigating and understanding what Ghanaians look out for before casting a vote for a particular candidate.
He said that the results from the elections prove that Ghanaians have taken great interest in the President-Elect, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo.
He added that it is quite appalling that most of the NPP’s parliamentary members lost their seats yet the presidential candidate for the party won.
“From the results, it is quite clear that Ghanaians love Nana Addo and want him to continue his good work but it is shocking that most of his ministers lost their seats”
He advised the party to work hard towards knowing what the citizens want so they can understand and build on that to win their hearts again.
“As a party, we need to probe into finding what the voters look out for in a candidate so that during the next election period, we can win their hearts again and get our seats back”, he added.
