Ghanaians have been asked to rally behind government and contribute their quota as the country’s economy recover from the coronavirus pandemic.
According to the New Juaben North Municipal Chief Executive, MCE Comfort Asante, the country suffered from the outbreak of the pandemic as other countries across the globe and emphasised the need for all to join government is restoring the economy fully back on its feet.
At Ghana’s 65th independence anniversary parade held at Effiduase Methodist park, the MCE stated that the President Akufo-Addo led NPP government has achieved greatly in terms of implementing policies as well as facilitating development across all the 16 regions.
Madam Comfort Asante expressed gratitude to Ghana’s first President, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and our forefathers who fought for the freedom of the people from the British colonial masters.
She also entreated Ghanaians to exhibit the attitude of patriotism in all our endeavours to ensure that right things are done to help in the development of the country as expected to be.
Ghana’s independence day celebration was held last Sunday on 6th March, 2022 with the national event hosted by Central region in Cape Coast.
