Mr. Seth Oduro Boadu, Municipal chief executive Nominee for West Akyem in the Eastern Region has called on Party leaders and supporters to accept and respect president Nana Akufo-Addo’s choice of Nomination to be considered and serve in the Assemblies.
He also called on Candidates who were not giving the nod to accept the verdict of the President and support those nominated to succeed for the Country to move forward.
In an interview with the media after his Nomination, Mr. Seth Oduro Boadu, who is expected to serve for another four years as Chiefs Executive commended persons who contested for the seat in the area for calling him to congratulate him and was happy for the peaceful atmosphere before, during and after the filing, vetting and release of the Nominees.
The Nominee said what people should always fight for is poverty and developmental projects for the Municipality and pledged to continue to work with Party leaders, members, chiefs, and other stakeholders to change the face of the Municipality.
Meanwhile, the Lower West Akyem Constituency chairman, Mr. Michael Asante who was also in the race has welcomed Mr. Oduro Boadu’s Nomination and pledged his support to him to develop the area.
He called on the Nominee to continue and complete ongoing projects and find out what some people were not happy within the area and address them immediately.
Mr. Michael Asante called on supporters for the Nominee and other candidates to set aside their differences and unite for one common goal.
