The Eastern Regional Secretary for NPP, Mr Anthony Osei-Adjei has called on members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to rally behind the party’s newly elected executives.
According to him, this will help the party in the upcoming general election.
In an interview with Bryt FM, he stated that the unity of the party is essential to its success, therefore all members must unite to build a unified front in order to retain power in 2024.
“We have elected a team of Officers with a deep attachment to the timeless values and principles of the Party and its tradition, and who will steer affairs of the party for the next four years”
He said the newly elected executives are the national face and voice of the Party, and they will set the tone and the pace of the election campaign in 2024, hence the need to support them.
While charging the rank and file of the party to remain united, he also seized the opportunity to congratulate the new crop of executives who emerged victorious in the just-ended polls.
“Once again, we, in the NPP, have demonstrated that we are the Party that is committed to the tenets of multi-party democracy”, he added.
He assured that as the new Eastern Regional NPP Secretary, he and his colleagues “will work assiduously for the party to win election 2024”.
