Prof. Nana Aba Appiah Amfo , Vice-Chancellor of
University of Ghana, has called for continues working towards creating more inclusive and equitable world for all as the World marks International Women’s Day.
She said “On this special day, let us reaffirm our commitment to gender equity and women’s empowerment, both within our institution and the larger society”.
In a statement, Prof. Nana Aba Appiah Amfo said the University of Ghana is blessed to have a diverse and talented community of women who play crucial roles in shaping our academic environment, advancing knowledge and inspiring others through their leadership and achievements.
“As we celebrate the 2024 International Women’s Day, I am delighted to extend my warmest wishes to all women in the University of Ghana community. Today, we recognise and honor your resilience and invaluable contributions within our own University and across the globe. “
